It is worth noting that an increasing proportion of pseudo-fever was found in school-aged children. With the change of social environment, psychological problems gradually increase. Pseudo-fever has become one of the leading causes of paediatric FUO. In this study, 53 cases (96%) were over 8 years old with obvious self-conscious symptoms. Fever was a prominent feature, but the skin touch temperature and the rectal temperature were normal during the examination. Psychological problems were found in some children, such as being tired of school, stress, etc.
