Термометрия в области височной артерии
Измерение температуры височной артерии при помощи инфракрасного термометра можно произвести на лбу. Доказано, что этот относительно новый способ измерения является более точным, чем термометрия в области барабанной перепонки и более удобным, чем ректальный способ [36].
В ходе проведенных исследований в отделении неотложной педиатрии было доказано, что данный способ термометрии имеет 80% чувствительность (по сравнению с ректальным способом). А для выявления температуры выше 38|C его чувствительность достигает 90%. Но при этом точность полученных результатов падает [37].
Термометрию в области височной артерии можно проводить у менее уязвимых детей, но нельзя рекомендовать для применения в домашних условиях, и тем более в больницах тогда, когда определение уровня температуры имеет решающее значение.
Рекомендованный метод измерения температуры
От рождения до 2 лет:
ректальный (показано);
подмышечный (выявление температуры у менее уязвимых детей).
От 2 до 5 лет:
ректальный (показано);
подмышечный, в области барабанной перепонки (или в области височной артерии в больничных условиях).
Старше 5 лет:
пероральный;
подмышечный, в области барабанной перепонки (или в области височной артерии в больничных условиях).
Вывод
Без сомнения все термометры для измерения температуры тела, имеющиеся на рынке, имеют сильные и слабые стороны. Ясно, что выбор родителей определенного термометра зависит от удобства применения, стоимости прибора, а также влияния рекламы. Для профессионалов самый старый способ является более предпочтительным потому, что он лучше записывается в медицинских документах. Однако, учитывая заботу об окружающей среде, ртутные термометры должны быть полностью исключены.
Исходя из приведенных данных не вызывает сомнений, что удобство применения, скорость работы, точность измерения, а также безвредность инфракрасных термометров для измерения температуры в ухе обосновывает их включение в перечень приборов для измерения температуры у детей. При этом, необходимо продолжать измерение температуры у детей моложе 2 лет ректальным способом, пока производители не начнут выпускать термометры с более тонким кончиком или не будет доказан способ измерения температуры в области височной артерии (на лбу) при более масштабных исследовательских работах.
